OFD Changes to Fulfil Mission

The Office of Faculty Development co-directors, Bess Marshall, MD and Yumi Turmelle, MD, welcome the addition of Philip Abraham, MD, as co-director of the office.

Katherine Rivera-Spoljaric, MD also joins the office as the Under Represented Minority Ombuds.

The addition of Drs. Abraham and Rivera-Spoljaric will better position us to fulfill the mission of the Office of Faculty Development:

  • Promote the career development of faculty
  • Assist with recruitment and retention of pediatric faculty
  • Increase leadership diversity
  • Enhance faculty satisfaction and wellness

Bess Marshall, MD, Steps Down from OFD
