On a separate note, BJC and WUSM are working on a joint project called Mobile Distributed Antenna System (MDAS) which will upgrade the cellular antenna systems across the medical center campus to allow cellular signals from AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. They are currently upgrading the MDAS infrastructure in St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and the new MDAS system is expected to be completed and fully functional in SLCH by mid-December. Other areas of the medical center will be upgraded over the next year.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Extramural Loan Repayment Programs (LRP) application cycle opened Sept. 1, 2021 and will close on Nov. 18, 2021.
