Xiao grew up in a rural village in Hubei province located in the central region of China. When he was a child, he enjoyed helping his family with crops and livestock on their small farm. Often times, he was disheartened by the unfavorable outcome due to a variety of reasons. The infection of young cotton plants by certain mysterious disease (most likely Fusarium wilt), which caused severe damage to only cotton plants but not any other crops struck him the most.

Washington University has no contractual agreement with these facilities and does not manage the discounts offered. If you have a contact at your local fitness facility who would like to offer a discount, please have them contact email@example.com and we would be happy to include them on this list.

Power struggles with our kids are no fun but they offer us an opportunity to recognize and work with our child’s temperament instead of fighting against it. We will look at two aspects of temperament that significantly shape family life: introversion/extraversion and the thinking/feeling preferences. You will leave with some concrete tools for identifying these preferences in your child and why it can make all the difference in reducing power struggles and building strong parent- child relationships.
This two-part series requires attendance at both sessions.
Please register here for both sessions.
Workshop will include CEP content, organization, generating document in WUPS and individual consult with senior faculty members regarding your CEP. If you don’t have a CEP, come anyway. We will help you get started!
